User Characteristics: Aims
Think of what the users of a GUI want:
- Learn and understand the GUI quickly
- Remember it's use easily
- Have full control, no restrictions on system functionality from GUI
- Productivity: "work fast"
- Trust, consistency, stability and error correction: "be sure of what happens"
- Fun and attractive design
There is no GUI that is good for everybody !
